I have been a full time rv`er for almost 10 years. Setting up satellite dishes is something that I have had to do since I started, including the ones for internet coverage. I have been trying to simplify life on the road and this antenna does that. So far after 2 months all is good.

This item should be mounted on top of your home or on a long pole. A neighbor mounted one on a small pole and receives 20 channels. I mounted mine on a tall pole and after hooking up the cable and pluging it in, I had my TV digital tv preform a scan and I got 50 plus stations right here in good old Danville, VA. I have been upset at Comcast raising my cable bill each year and telling me that I was getting a deal.
I researched and found that this small gem is perfect for what I wanted. FREE TV! I get NBC,ABC,FOX,CW, ION,3 PBS STATIONS and about ten HD channels that Comcast Digital starter will only provide if you rent their box! I found that Cable on shows can be located on line and I am now hooked on FREE TV! I am going to save my monthly cable bill money for something better!

Be warned that you will need to buy the cable and the pole. Most hardware stores will have the steel pole. Walmart, radio shack, Target or Kmart carry the extra cable. The signal booster is built in and a simple hook up is included. A great investment to save what I am each year now (822. a year)SEE YA DONT WANT TO BE YA CABLE COMPANY!!!

I was was replacing an outdated KVH in-motion dome that came on my '04 American Eagle J..with the SK-SWM3 & planned to do the install myself. Well it went like a breeze due to great instructions & that video. I had this baby up & running about 2hrs or less with a fantastic HD picture. Push one button on the Data reciever & up she goes to tune in the 3 birds...same way to retract. Doesn't get any easier than that!!! Thanks Winegard for a very smart & user friendly HD DISH!!!

Living in a rural area I am used to getting bad reception from rooftop antennas. Recently I upgraded all of our television sets to 1080p HD versions and decided we also needed to replace our old antenna. After much research, I purchased the WA-2605. The specifications for it seemed quite good. Though I have to admit, I bought it because I liked the way it looked when compared to many of the other antennas listed here on Amazon.

The antenna took less than a week to arrive. It is made out of aluminum and a tough rigid plastic. Assembly was easy requiring only two phillips head screw drivers, a jewelers sized one and a standard size. (You'll need the small jewelers sized screw driver to attach the aluminum flanges to the long aluminum bar.) The only time I looked at the instructions was to make certain I was using the proper screws in the correct holes, total assembly time was less than 15 minutes.

One modification I did have to make was to reduce the interior of the antenna's plastic mount by sanding it in order for it to fit our antenna mast. I used a Dremel with a drum head sanding pad.

So how well does the antenna work?

In a single word outstanding! It not only met my expectations it exceeded them. The quality of the signals I am now able to receive are two to three times better than our older, much larger antenna. I am now pulling in one station that is 140 miles away and another which is 80 miles distant. Our closest local station is 45 miles.

The day I installed it, the antenna got the first major test of its life when we had a storm blow in that was packing winds of 50-60 miles per hour. (We received a half inch of rain in less than 30 minutes.) I expected to find my new antenna at least partially bent out of shape.

Homeworx HW110AN Super Thin Indoor HDTV Antenna

We're transitioning away from cable (we use Netflix, Amazon Prime, Vudu, etc... for all streaming content) so we wanted to find a solution that would provide us local channels. I stumbled across this little bad boy and decided to give it a shot (for the cost, I went ahead an purchased 4). Shipping was SUPER FAST!!! I ordered on a Saturday and had them on Monday.

One drawback - the built in cable is too short. It really doesn't allow you much leeway to work with placement. I had to couple it to a longer cord. I found the higher up I could get the antenna, the less problems I had. You have to play with the placement of the antenna to get the best reception and channels. Right out of the box the antenna found 73 local HD channels (granted, most of the channels we ones that I'd never watch - EVER). The main local channels (NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, KDAF, CW etc.) came in loud and in super HD. Sometimes the picture will pixilate, but it's not terrible.

I attempted to set up a second TV and had much more difficulty in finding a placement that would allow for good reception. Still working on that.
